East Moline, IL – July 10, 2014: For the 11th time in 12 years Standard
Forwarding has proudly earned the LTL Carrier of the Year award presented by
Schneider Logistics (SLI).
The
award was presented in a team gathering at the Standard Forwarding Corporate
Offices by Rick Oettinger and Dan Busse in recognition of Standard
Fowarding’s service achievement. The award is presented to the carrier who
best delivers on time service, claims performance, e-business capability and
integration with Schneider Logistics in order to create an ease of doing
business. Standard is the only LTL carrier to receive the award 11
times.
John
Liss, Standard Forwarding Director of Sales, congratulated the entire Standard
Forwarding team. “It is a great honor and something we should all be proud
of. Thanks
for all for your hard work and dedication on managing the multitude of
accounts that SLI entrusts to our organization. Starting
from EDI entry set up and all the way thru to POD download and all events
in-between, these “touches” are what the SLI team measures via detailed
carrier scorecards. It
is due to your specific dedication to detail along each of these customer’s
supply chains that we continue to stay ahead of the competition. Let’s not
take this award for granted and continue to improve upon our customer
processes for years to come.”
